ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
Was originally started as the QUEEN MARY JAZZ FESTIVAL, aboard
the Queen Mary in 1978 by LBJF founder Al Williams.
Was
the very first jazz festival to be held in Southern California.
It's held annually in the coastal setting of Rainbow Lagoon Park in
Long Beach, CA.
It's surrounded by the historic Queen Mary, the Long Beach Aquarium,
Shoreline Yacht Club, Long Beach Convention Center and the
Long Beach Grand Prix route.
Regularly draws attendees from California, the United States, Canada,
Europe and Asia.
